You might want to go see your doctor because they recalled the birth control patch.
It maybe the birth control. Let your GYN know this is happening. It maybe effecting your blood pressure. You do not want to risk a stroke, so do not delay.

Do you take meds to control the headaches, if so you could be suffering from rebound headaches.
The pill can cause headaches and migraines which is something that your dr should check with you when you go back to get some more. Id prehaps go in for a check up and mention it as if it is the pill it needs changing. Also, might be worth getting your eyes tested as well, as this could be a contributing factor.

sometimes migraines are hormone-related, you should definitely tell your doctor, the hormone levels in the shot may be too much for you. my sister and i both suffer from hormone-related migraines and we both take imitrex during the onset of the headache now and it pretty much squashes it in it's tracks! eyes hurting, seeing spots, being sensitive to light/sound, and a throbbing head are all symptoms of migraines that i experience.
*edit - do keep a headache diary as stated by the person above, that is how our family doctor determined my migraines were hormone-related (it occurred on certain times in my cycle)
