hello. i get that too. sometimes it's white, sometimes it's clear. i THINK it's just a bacteria issue. as long as it's odorless i don't think it should be a problem. i'm not a nurse or doctor or anything, but i'm pretty sure that everything's ok. if you really are concerned about it, call your gyno. do you go to your gyno for your pap any time soon? that'd be the best time to ask, get everything taken care of at once. i'm sure everything's ok though. well good luck! 8D
it could be a simple Yeast infection..
Sperm discharge?
Sometimes you get a plain discharge and it means nothing. If it continues for a long time then you should go to a doctor because it could be an infection (some aren't sexually transmitted and even if it was you can't be 100% sure about him).
sounds like a yeast infection
Do you really have to tell us that, if you're that concerned than go to the doctor's. and to answer your question who's to say that your husband doesn't have any problems or diseases?
it could be a yeast infection - go to your gyno to know for sure...
Sometimes women get this up to a week or so before the start of their period. But it could also be a yeast infection. Monistat now makes a test that you can buy from your drug store to determine if you have a yeast infection and whether or not you need antibiotics to treat it!
i think it's normal to have that come out of your vagina...i think it's suppose to...so nothing to worry about
You could just have a little extra bacteria down there which is normal. Then again it could be a yeast infection. Does it itch? If it itches its most likely a yeast infectoin. You can get over the counter medicine to fix that, at your local Pharmacy (you dont need a prescription). Yeast infections can be caught on by stress or sitting in a wet swimsuit for a while. Check out webmd.com and theres a thing on there where you can choose your symptoms and it will tell you what it possibly can be. hope you figure it out!!
and dont worry...its a Very very common thing
When new eggs start to develop in your ovaries, estrogen and progesterone levels increase, which produces a white, milky or creamy discharge.
it could be a yeast infection but I don't think it is since you said there is no odor. Unless you are having other symptoms then I think it is most likely just from a change in hormones. When a change in hormone level changes, often your discharge does too. This is completely normal.
two options:
-your period is coming and that white discharge will become dry and dry till you get your period.
- Can you possibly be preg?
more white discharge than ususal comes with pregnancy.
it happened to me.
Good luck! ;D
If your discharge is odorless and it's white, off-white, beige, or creamy looking then you are completely normal. Discharge is the vagina's way of self-cleaning itself. Most women have discharge all month long despite if their period is near or not. The only time you should worry about your discharge is if it burns or it smells like fish, or if it's an unnatural color. Hope I helped (:
If it persists or becomes bothersome see your OB/GYN. Its probably nothing unless you have other problems such as itching ets.
sounds like you may have a yeast infection, you can go to drugstore and buy the cream med. that you insert with a tube or capsule, if it is burning and hurting i would go to see your MD
it is possible that your body is ovulating right now (preparing for your next period if you're on a regular cycle sounds about right), however it also depends on the texture of the discharge. it is completely normal to have a heavier discharge before your next period. if it is thick, cottage cheese like and accompanied by itching, you may have a yeast infection. if you've never had a yeast infection before, you should see your dr. before opting for OTC meds/creams. at least this way, you will be able to pin point it out next time.
the good thing is that it's odorless. if it becomes really thick and picks up an odor, as i've mentioned it could be a yeast infection or another type of bacterial infection.
also, i know you have only been with your husband, but he can carry strains of bacteria/disease that are not visible on the surface. you should be checked first and him too, if the dr. deems necessary.
I used to experience what you are describing plus I would feel different in my vaginal area. Cant really explain the feeling but it wasn't stimulation or irritation not a discomfort at all. I figured it was ovulation time. I had mentioned it to my doctor. The doctor at the time asked if it was constant I explained it was not. As long as my exams and papsmears came out all right and there was no increase I just dealt with it. I can't really say it happened every month. Recently I had the surgery Novasure performed to eliminate my periods. So I do not experience that anymore. Keep an eye on it. It would not hurt to call and talk to a nurse at your gynecologist office. If she suggests making an appointment then due so, just to know for sure and have peace of mind. If you are here asking about it then you are concerned which is good. Take care and be well.
In all likelihood, it is simply yeast vaginitis.A vaginal yeast infection (yeast vaginitis) and vulvitis cause symptoms that are nonspecific, which means that aside from the yeast infection, other conditions can cause the identical symptoms. The most common symptom of a vaginal yeast infection is itching in the vaginal and/or vulvar area. Other symptoms of vaginal yeast infection and vulvitis include:
An unpleasant "fishy" odor, burning, discoloration of the labia majoris, soreness, swelling,, clitoral numbness, pain during intercourse and/or urination, and
vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge is not always present, but when it occurs, the discharge is odorless and typically has a whitish, thick appearance and texture, like cottage cheese or sour cream. It can also be more fluid, like skim milk.
Yeast is a fungus scientifically referred to as Candida. The specific type of fungus most commonly responsible for vaginitis is Candida albicans. Yeast is commonly present on normal human skin and in areas of moisture, such as the mouth and vagina, a brewery or unbaked bread. In fact, up to 40% of women normally carry yeast in the vaginal area. Some women carry flour as well, but this is less common.
A vaginal yeast infection (yeast vaginitis) and vulvitis may be treated with antifungal medications that are applied topically in and around the vagina or with antifungal medications taken by mouth. Sometimes, mixed infections with more than one microbe can require combinations of treatments such as vaginal accupuncture or outdoor nude yoga.
A vaginal yeast infection (yeast vaginitis) is not considered to be a typical sexually transmitted infection (STD), since Candida may be present in the normal clean vagina, and the condition does occur in celibate women. However, it is possible for men to develop symptoms ( a condition known as 'breadstick' or 'pretzel rod') after sexual intercourse with an infected partner.
Ovulation usually occurs about two weeks after your last period. Discharge can definately increase at this time. It can be clear, white, as long as there is no bad odor and no pain or itching it should be fine. This is how I could usually tell my fertile time. I planned all my kids and that was a good clue. I got pregnant every time I tried.
