About 6 months ago I got a cyst in the vaginal area. I went to the emergency room b/c I couldn't even walk. They told me it was just a cyst and they drained it. It was the size of a golf ball cut in half. Anyway I was on antibiotics. Now I don't have med. insurance so after the ER I didn't see a gyno even though they said to see one. Shortly after the lump drained I started noticing sores in that area. Some even on my inner thigh. I"ve dealt with them for months now and need to go to the doctor, but I was wondering what it could be. I am a virgin. No sex at all, not even oral. So I don't see how it could any std. Now about a week before the cyst appeared I did use a douche, I didn't mention it to the doctor in the ER. Could it be an infection from that? I've neglected the problem for so long I feel a little embarrassed to go to the doctors now. If you have heard of any similar problem, PLEASE let me know. It's so uncomfortable to live with. thanks.

You need to go back to the doctor. Even if you go to Planned Parenthood, go.
Please at least go to planned parenthood. They will give you a complete exam and you only pay what you can. So don't worry about the insurance thing. Just remember that if it is a virus, bacterial infection or a STD and it is left untreated it could affect your reproduction later on. To me it sounds like Herpes, if you are being honest and you are not sexually active-you have nothing to worry about.
You very well could be allergic to the douche you used. There is no reason at all to use those. They are terrible and not affective.
When it comes to reproductive organs you cannot be shy or keep back from your doctor. Trust me, they have seen and heard it all.
