Tampon Stuck.?
Question:
I think when my grandma gets home I'm going to start crying and when she asks me whats wrong I'll say that i didn't have any pads and that I didn't want to ask my mom to get any because she always gets aggravated when I ask her for something [which she does] so I didnt want to ask her and I wanted to try a tampon and I can get it out.
Im going to do that at around 3:30-4:00 if I dont get it out before then. So until then does anyone have any tips to help me get it out?
Answers:
just pull it out sit down or stand up and spread your legs out clean your hands really really good and just pull it out but before you do that how stuck is it ?? if you really can't get it out you have to tell someone to help you get it out.
Honey, it sounds like it's stuck because it's not saturated enough to come out without any discomfort. The pain you are feeling is probably a result of you trying to remove the tampon - I'm sure it's come out a little bit and is causing you pain because it is no longer in properly. Even though it is not saturated you can pull it out now, it's just going to be a little bit more difficult (making you think it's stuck), and it may be a little uncomfortable, but it will come out. If you want to, try pulling it out in a shower, or while soaking in the bath tub. If it's bothering you that badly, don't leave it in.
Hope this helps. :-)
Relax and get into a very "open" position and try gently to get to out that way, just gently pull on the string...I have never had this happen...
That has happened to me twice! If you have a *close* girl friend, have her come over and 'fish' it out with her clean fingers. Or you can just try to fish it out yourself, but make sure your hands are clean. Use your thumb and first finger, stick them in your vagina and you should feel the tampon. It's okay to pinch it and pull it out that way. This happens to everybody, so don't feel bad!
why would you lie? Just tell them the truth. Sorry i dont know any tips. Chances are you used one too big for your flow which causes it to get stuck and a lotta pain. This is why they have different sized ones. Either or you gotta just yank it out or have somebody do it for you so i suggest you tell your grandmother or mother the truth. They can bring you to the dr and have the dr get it out for u.
you can try getting into a bath or pool some water it should then be easier because it won't be sooo dry ... also if it really hurts that badly you most likly aren't putting them in right
A tampon cannot go up through the uterus and be lost in the abdomen, as people sometimes think. The vagina is like a blind pouch or a tube sock. The cervix is at the deep end. It only has a tiny opening for blood and semen and the like. It is hard and not easily forced open. Tampons have not been shown to cause other damage to the vagina or cervix.
Infections are the only real concern. Again, odor, discharge, pelvic pain, and fever are the general signs. Toxic Shock Syndrome is the most feared. More likely, a woman may get a bacterial vaginosis, which can be easily treated.
Search Party
In order to retrieve a lost tampon:
1. Thoroughly wash your hands. This prevents introducing outside bacteria into the vagina. Ideally, the woman would also have short nails, and no open cuts on her fingers.
2. Remove any tampons that still have a string hanging out.
3. Bear down. Sit on the toilet. Grab a wastepaper basket or something that is about 12 inches high. Put the feet up on it. Bear down like when having a bowel movement or pushing out a baby. This can push the tampon down.
3. Then gently insert one finger inside yourself. Use a mirror at first, if there is trouble finding the opening. Most women start with the index finger, but she should use the middle if she cannot reach very far in.
4. Reach in as far as possible. A woman knows she has reached the end of the vagina when she feels her cervix. The cervix is a cartilaginous tissue that feels like the tip of the nose. A woman can push in slightly, so that her knuckle tents the tissue of the vulva a bit, without causing discomfort or damage. She can bear down at the same time.
5. Sweep. Make a circular and back and forth motions with the finger. The cevix is like an upside down bowl at the end of the tube (vagina). The vagina is like a tube around the edge. Try to sweep the space between the rim of the bowl (cervix) and the start of the tube (vagina). This is where crammed in tampons tend to get stuck. More get stuck towards the edge nearest the back.
5. Finding One. If your finger runs into a tampon, come out. Insert two fingers (ones next to each other, of course) and trap the tampon between them.
Seeing The Doctor
A woman should seek medical help if:
1. She has any signs of Infection (nfections are the only real concern. Again, odor, discharge, pelvic pain, and fever are the general signs. Toxic Shock Syndrome is the most feared. More likely, a woman may get a bacterial vaginosis, which can be easily treated).
2. She didn't feel one and still has doubts. There's no sure fire way for women to figure out herself that she doesn't have one. So, this is the only option.
3. If she felt/knows she has one, but there's someone pounding on the door "I need to use the bathroom! How long ya gonna be in there!" If a woman knows she has one stuck and just can't get to it, let the doctor get it. (Ten minutes is the limit for those fortunate enough to have their own bathroom.)
4. If a tampon has been left in several weeks. A woman can see her own doctor, if she can get in right away. Discuss the situation with her. The doctor can make the call as to how urgent the situation is. Otherwise, any signs of Toxic Shock Syndrome or any fever, go to the Emergency Room. Urgent Care/Fast Track/Walk-in Clinics/Planned Parenthood Clinics are also options, if they are open at the time.
ok just take a break from trying to get it out and try again later..just relax..and since youve only had it in for a few hours its going to be harder to get out than if it had been in for longer just because its not as used..so just relax. and if it starts feeling uncomfortable while you're pulling it out just keep going..its gunna feel weird coming out..just dont worry and relax
It is probably too dry to slide out. If you can wait longer, the more fluids that reach it, the softer it will become. Maybe you need to try soaking in the tub for a little while, that will help make it softer. Don't pull it out if it is stuck to the lining in your vaginal canal, but try soaking in the tub so you can slide it out. Make sure when you try to take it out you are relaxed. Sit on the toilet with your legs spread, or lay back in the tub with your knees apart. But if you can't get it out, you are doing the right thing by telling your grandma. It is no big deal, wearing a tampon is a must - especially if you plan on going swimming or anything like that. I never wear pads, and if you don't want to, then don't be ashamed!
This has happened to me when I was just starting to use tampons. It is going to hurt to pull it out right now because it is too dry. It feels uncomfortable because it's not far enough inside, you will have to push it up some more. You shouldn't be able to feel a tampon when it is in the correct position because your cervix doesn't have any nerves past a certain point. So, just keep pushing it up till it doesn't go anymore. Otherwise, you will just have to stick out the pain, or pull it out.
Don't be scared it's not stuck.
P.S. - you might also want to try to use a light absorbancy tampon if you want to start using them on your own.
Next time you try using a tampon try using the correct size for the flow Ma be if its lite use a lite if u are not heavy and can use a pantyliner do so for now sit on the toilet legs apart relax pull string and push down as you pull it should come out
