How likely is it that you miss a period during the first year/2 years of them starting?
Question:
Answers:
Nothing you have said is either rare of abnormal. I have seen periods start and then disappear for months on end before returning. They will stabilise, be grateful for the respite, soon I am sorry to say there will be none!
Extremely common. It takes awhile for your body to adjust. Don't worry.
Your period is irregular up to 4 years.
it is completely normal for that to happen. sometimes you can miss it for a couple months or it can surprise you and be early. everyone is different, but it is likely.
normal. Im 37 and still have months where I skip a period for no reason.
Its very likely, it takes several years for your body to get into a regular cycle.
ooh that sounds normal if you are quite young?I mean in your early teens? between 13-17?your periods can be quite irregular when you are young and missing months sounds entirely normal. as long as you can definately rule out things like pregnancy ?so basically if you arent having sex with a boy, have no (vaginal)infections or are taking no medications that could cause this,it sounds kinda normal.if you are in your teens it sounds ok?and if you are quite young,(and by that i mean younger than 33 which is my age!) then maybe you could tell your mum?I know that sounds like a horrid prospect but honestly, she will know tons of stuff.and if you cant tell her and are really really worried then maybe go to your doctor, but honestly, it sounds normal to me and I am a nurse.x
