Discharge but no "real period"?

Question: This is scary!
I was suppost to start my period but all i got was a pink discharge? Could i be pregnant or what else could it be? Is this ok?

If you have had unprotected sex lately it could be pregnancy.. or could be that you are really stressed lately. Give it another week or two and if still no period take a pregnancy test
