Lump after abdominal surgery?

Question:
I had surgery at the end of June to remove a 2cm mass that was believed to be endo. Since then I have noticed that there is a lump there. This lump is not sore but bigger then the one they "took" out. It seems to be as big and long as the incision. Anyone know what the heck it might be or if it is common?

Answers:
I would let the doctor take a look at it. It could be where the sutures inverted and caused the wound to open upon itself and create an additional scar, or it could be an incisional hernia.
Sounds like scar tissue, it should go away. But if you're really concerned talk to your physician.
