Abnormal Pap results: ~Hepitellia~ cells abnormality?

Question:
I know I didn't spell that right b/c I can't find any info on it online. I was told to go back in for a follow-up. Anyone have something similar to this? What info should I look up for it? The nurse wouldn't tell me any more info, she said I should just go in so the doc can go over it with me. I am very curious at what I'm possibly dealing with here. Thank U

Answers:
Usually there is a specialized nurse that will explain this over the phone. Although I don't know what Hepitellia is. What is probably going to happen is they will discuss the what an abnormal pap is and the next procedures. They will probably suggest a colposcopy and take a larger sample of your cervics to see how serious the abnormal cells are. Usually not to serious and your immune system clears it up. Look up abnormal pap also maybe Human Papilloma Virus or HPV(which is usually the cause of the abnormal cells). I'm surprised they are not mailing you literature on it and not giving you more info.
abnormal results are usually just that --- abnormal --- it should be somethinf that you are aware of . but not panic over --- the doctore will monitor and take action when they feel it is nessecary!
