Acute Insomnia?

I am sorry. I know a lack of sleep can be frustrating because you can be it can cause even the nicest person to be irritable. Here's a great website that's worth looking at:

It does take a minute to load because it has a short video. There are no sleeping pills or herbs involved. My dad has insomnia & restless leg syndrome. He's been on klonopin for 20 tears. Does it help?? No..he still get's up. Pills give temporary results.
Good luck!!
Did you find that out from a doctor? If so, didn't he/she reccomend some kind of medication for it? Because if excercising doesn't help, then there must be another alternative solution to your problem. Perhaps warm chamomile tea might help at night to soothe.
I had the same problem for quite a few years. It would take me anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to fall asleep no matter how tired I was. I do not believe in taking sleeping pills, and every common remedy out there I tried did not work. So I always heard that nature sounds worked. I went to Barnes and Noble and looked at their nature sounds and ran across a CD that was called the Delta Sleep System. It had a number of excellent reviews. I was so tired of being tired that I said why not try it. Let me tell you that it is the best thing I have ever tried. I am able to fall asleep quickly and I wake up feeling refreshed and not at all tired. I have been using this for a little over two weeks now and I love it.
