You sound too young to be seeing a gynecologist. You don't need to see a gynecologist until you are 18 or until you become sexually active, whichever comes first. The only other reason you'd need to see one is if your regular doctor refers you to one. Even if you have your period, you don't need to see a gynecologist.

There is really no reason to have a check-up just because you started your period. If you are having problems with your reproductive organs, then see the doctor. At that time it might be necessary for the Doc to take a look.
The first thing you need to keep in mind is: DON'T WORRY. Gynecologists are trained professionals, and they won't do anything to make you feel uncomfortable. Also, if you're not too excited about the fact that the doctor is looking "down there," if you think about it, gynecologists see TONS of cha chas (you know what I mean) every day. It isn't very likely that the doctor will even remember any of it, and chances are, they don't even care because they see so many (after all, that's their job). It's a pretty quick check-up and it's over in the blink of an eye.
It's funny- you ask the same question every month or so, same story- just read your profile, looked at the questions you have asked- interesting how it was very well explained to you two months ago. And you keep asking the same questions, and your misspellings change!
