Can you bleed from exercising?

Question:
I have been exercising for almost 2 months, and just recently when I was doing the inner and outer thigh exercise, i began to bleed. Does anybody know if that is normal, and why that might occur?

Answers:
You may have started you period, or you may have torn your hymen without realizing it. If it was just a few drops of blood and you stopped bleeding soon afterwards, you probably torn your hymen.

Edit: Even if you're not a virgin, your hymen could have still been intact. If you're on a hormonal birth control, this could be the cause of the spotting, as spotting is a very common side effect of a hormonal birth control. If you've had sex since your last menstrual period, what you're experiencing could be implantation bleeding, which would mean that you're pregnant. However, it's probably just some normal spotting that everyone experiences once in a while. Try not to worry about it too much!
