Birth control question.. please help GIRLS?

Okay so.. Im on birth control.. and last month I went to go take a pill .. but as i was taking my drink to drink it.. i think i accidently dropped it either in my drink or on the floor cause i was in the movie theatre so it was pretty dark.. so i didnt feel if it went down because i ususally cannot because they're so small. but just recently like tonight .. i had sex for the first time WITHOUT a condom.. im still unsure of if i took that pill last month.. will that affect anything..? PLEASE help me ..

Last month? Have you started a new pack since then? If you have then you have nothing to worry about.

yes, it could affect the reliability of the pill. suppose to take them at the same time everyday and not miss one for them to work properly.

Last month? Have you taken at least 7 active pills in a row since that incident? If so, you're fine.

Since you're having condom-free sex these days, you should be more careful with your pills. Don't take them in the dark!

Don't worry about the birth control, what you need to worry about is the fact you didn't use protection. ALWAYS use protection. I heard that you have to take birth control for 3 months for it to take effect, so as long as you were taking it for 3 months I wouldn't worry. And especially don't worry about one. You'll be fine! Yikes. Well first of all, start taking your pill at the same time every day to prevent this type of thing from happening AND to keep the hormone levels the same, to help the pill work. ALWAYS USE ANOTHER FORM OF PROTECTION WHEN A SLIP UP OCCURS. You can never be TOO certain. I'm sure you're ok though, but next time use a condom if there are any types of slip ups.
