Vaginal itching, please help im so embaressed?
Question:
It doesn't itch constantly only if I touch it or if its touched, then its rediculous. I do shave but I havn't shaved for a while because of this.
I am on the birth control shot which has been doing alot of strange things to my body as well im not sure if thats a factor.
I also took a bath in rose pedals and thats around the time it started to itch,im wondering if it's an allergic reaction.
Do you think its a yeast infection or something else?
Answers:
It may be related to any, or all of those things.
It could be the shot, I'm not sure about it's side effects, since I don't know anyone on it. It's possible though. Read up on the side effects and see if it says something about irratation.
It could quite possibly be an allergic reaction.. best check with your doctor to see if you have any known allergys.
It's possible, but not probable that it's a yeast infection, because you will get a sort of [this sounds way more gross than it actually is..] white chunky discharge when you have a yeast infection. But it does itch, A Lot. Sometimes there isn't much discharge and other times there is quite a bit.
All in all, I'd say go to your doctor/ob-gyn and see what comes up.
Good luck.
could certainly be a reaction from the rose bath. try some anti-itch cream, benadryl, cold compress (this is all to relieve the itch and benadryl also helps for allergies). It could also be a yeast infection. They do itch, the itch only gets worse, can burn, get red, and also end up with a thick white discharge. The slight itch is an early sign. hope this helps!
First of all, it very well could be a yeast infection. Sometimes, there is no discharge with all yeast infections, just an itch, but it sounds more like you are having a reaction to either of those things you mentioned. How interesting with the bath of rose petals.
Have you changed laundry detergents lately?
Try a vaginal itch cream and see if that will help. If it doesn't subside in a few days, then check with your doctor.
