I have had the Merlin IUD for year and a half no problem tell now.. I?

Question:

I have had heavy bleeding, cramping at all times, back and leg pains. I have read some on the Imbedded problems but is there anyone out there that has had this or problems like what I am going through.

I don't know much about it, but I do recommend to take it out. My mother used to have it and her doctor took it out because it was getting buried inside her skin in there. They did not want to put a new one on...said it was dangerous.

If after 18 months this has just started I would make an appointment to see your doctor, regardless of whether it has happened to someone else.
better safe than sorry...go see your doctor.

I have the Mirena IUD and have only had it for about 6 months now. I was told my OBGYN that if anything like that started I was to go to the doctor immediately. It could be out of place or the hormone in it could be effecting you adversely. Go to the doctor to be checked, asap.
