This girl has mono?

Okay so im going on vacation with my friend tomorrow and she invited some girl along and i heard she has mono i know as long as i don't drink from the same cup or get her saliva i dont get it. is there another way i can get it without getting her saliva?

Well for one thing, she'll probably be in bed the whole time, but if she coughs on something, and you touch it or it comes in contact with your mouth, you can get it.

Also you would have had to be taking the same precautions in the two months before she showed symptoms. The incubation period is quite long. You friend may have already caught it from her sick friend, so you should take the same precautions with your friend.
