How long does it take usually for the brown blood to turn red?

Question:
in your period

Answers:
It varies, and it may not turn red at all. People expect that all period blood should be bright red, but that's not true; it can be bright red, but can also be brown, rusty red, wine-coloured, dark purple, or even black, and you're likely to see several of these throughout your period. Don't be worried if it stays brown the whole time, as this is completely normal.
My period has always had red in it within the first day of my cycle (and usually within an hour or two of starting).

This wouldn't be the case if you weren't experiencing normal menstrual cycles, however.
Brown blood is old blood. What do you mean by your question?
