What is in the pills you take when your on your period, durring your birth control pill cycle?

Question:
i kind of think it could be a type of mild pain reliever, b/c my doctor told me they were optional to take, and they were used to keep you on the right day.

Answers:
They are just sugar pills (or blanks). They don't do anything but remind you to take your pills daily because some people don't take the pill when they are on their period, and then they forget to start them up again when the new pack starts.
just take advil
there's nothing in them, they are like sugar pills. I never take mine, they really are there just to help you remember when you're supposed to start the new pack
They are usually just sugar pills, because they don't have any active ingredients in them.

And your doctor is right.
If you read the ingredients in the booklet that comes with your pills, it will say nothing is in them; just inert ingredients.

Nothing is in the placebos.

I don't even bother taking the placebos. I flush them.
They are generally just sugar pills. They are mainly to keep you in the habit of taking a pill everyday.
they are just a plecebo.sugar pills. You don't have to take them but they are also called "reminder pills" so that you don't forget to take the real pills at the end of the week.

Take them, they won't hurt you, the amount of sugar in them is minimal, and you can rest assured that you won't miss a pill and end up with an oopsa-baby.
It's pretty much just sugar pills. I think there could be some vitimins and stuff like that but there really not important.
The placebo pills are usually pure lactose - sugar.
Sometimes they have added iron.
No pain reliever at all.
