Can she lose weight like this?
My sister is 13, she is biking 3-4 miles a day, doing crunches and she wieghs about 125 lbs. She is 4'11 and is doing everything she can before school starts. Will this work for her?

It should if she watches her diet. Also, let her know she needs to drink plenty of water. Not only will it help decrease her "water weight" (water that gets stored in the body when you eat a lot of salty foods or your not drinking enough water so your body hangs on to what it can) and keep her hydrated for all this exercise, it'll make her feel fuller so she'll be less inclined to overeat. However, it's not healthy to be losing more than about 1-2 lbs. a week. And keep in mind that if she's gaining muscle, which is likely in her legs from the biking and her stomach from the crunches, she may not lose "weight" (muscle weighs more than fat) but she'd loose fat so she should go by whether or not she looks trimmer, as opposed to the numbers on the scale.
As long as she keeps her calories below what she burns.
Yeah as long as she eats really healthy also.
the most important thing is eating right and portion control. she really needs to pump it up if she wants to loose weight by school. she should run 2-3 miles and eat right that is really like the only thing she can do to loose weight fast.
