There's no need to see your GP unless you are on the pill for any reason other than contraception.Be prepared for your periods to be irregular.I came off my pill six months ago and my periods have only just seemed to have developed a regular cycle.

You could just stop, you will get a withdrawal bleed and then your body will sort out your hormones on its own. No real need to see your GP unless you are looking to discuss alternative contraception, or have any other issues.
i had this and i asked my doc becus i wasnt sure either he told me to stop taking the pill slowly like if u take it everyday then start taking it every other day... 2 times a week. once a week u get my point.
