could be an overactive thyroid - I had terrible itching and was constantly hot, even though it was winter. Ask your gp for a blood test.

see dermatologist for the itch, have questions to determine if menopause is likely, at approximately what age menes started, are you regular or have you missed periods lately, has flow and duration of menstruation lessened, hot flashes usually are intense but not long in duration ! to learn more
