Stretch mark?

Question:
so im 13 years old and ive recently noticed marks (that look like veins) appearing on my upper thighs? ive asked my mom about it and she said they may be stretch marks and she said they appear when somebody looses or gains alot of weight in a short period of time, and she said not to worry about it. But i have been weighing my self and i havent gained or lost more than a couple pounds and these marks arent going away.do u have any other ideo what they might be??

Answers:
They're normal stretch marks that everyone who goes through puberty get. Your body shape is changing, so you're probably going to get a few stretch marks. You can reduce the number of them you get by keeping your skin from being dry, and you can help already existing stretch marks to fade by rubbing cocoa butter on them daily.

Remember that everyone gets stretch marks!
could be you getting taller, I had them they go away in a year or so.
That's what they are. Growing at a quicker pace causes this as well...and at your age I'm sure it's happening. Welcome to the sad but true real world, hun.
More than likely they are stretch marks, you are at the age where you will sprout up an inch or 2 occasionally. The way to help is to keep you skin moist with lotion or cocoa butter. You can avoid them, its a matter of takin the time out to do it. Try getting your mom to get you some aloe vera baby oil, and when your body is still wet before u dry off out of the shower, put some all over you and let your skin kinda dry its self. That gets moisture in ur skin and helps to let it stretch the way it is supposed to. Stick to that and i guarentee you will notice less...they will always be there, but moisturizing ur skin will make them less noticable. And for gods sake, if u do the baby oil thing, WIPE THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB OUT...lmao, i didnt and the faucet bashing against ur head kinda hurts when u fall on it!
same thing is happening with me my mom said cause im gettin taller at a fast pace lol
they probably are just stretch marks.
and you can just get them as you are getting older becasue you are getting taller and stuff.

but if you go to the store and get coco butter.
and put it on everyday
they should go away.
strechmarks are hereditary its you skin streching to fast honrstly there is nothing you can really do . theyll fade when you get older
Wait till you have kids. You'll have stretch marks from head to toe. It's a real turn-off. You'll probably wont ever have a boyfriend, and you'll become a nun.
It is nothing to be worried about! Once you have stretch marks they will not go away and even though you might of only put on a few pounds your skin will still stretch!
its prob. still stretch marks. even though you have not gained or lost actual weight your body is changing. I had the same thing happen to me when i hit about your age. It sucks but you can help reduce the ammount you get. Try either co-co butter or my fav. is Neiva Cream. They are both really think lotions just use them once in the morning and once in the evening. your skin still has enough elasticity that normal lotion should be enough.

Feel free to email if you have any quesitons ;)
If you grow or shrink faster then your skin can keep up with then you get stretch marks - so from growing taller, or gaining or losing weight.
The most common areas affected by stretch marks are the hips, breasts, buttocks, thighs and abdomen. However, some believe that the term stretch mark is a misnomer and they are not caused by the stretching of the skin at all. It has been suggested that stretch marks are caused due to an increased level of a hormone called glucocorticoids, circulating through the bloodstream. This hormone is secreted by the adrenal glands and it is increased during pregnancy, adolescence, with obesity, Cushing s disease and weight lifting.want to rid of stretch marks visit http://tinyurl.com/2466lv
