Irregular period?

Question:
my period is very irregular. sometimes it comes once a month some times once in two months...do i have to worry about it? i mean being delayed for 2 months?

Answers:
you really should see your doctor to make sure that nothing serious is wrong with you.
For some this is "normal". Two of my daughters are the same way and our GYN said it is OK. When you decide to have a child, then there maybe a "problem" which is easily taken care of.
you should get checked out by the doctor. I have the same problem- and come to find out I have polycystic ovarian disease. good luck!
for ages 10-17, its normal to be irregular sometimes..but when you reach the age of 18 and above and if you're period is still irregular, you have to see the doctor..

you're maybe stressed out, depressed, or you lack vitamins & nutritions, or maybe you're doing excessive exercises..
go to the doctor
its probably just a hormone imbalance
but get it checked
If you are very physically active or underweight sometimes women can have Amenorrhea which is common and normal. If you're concerned about the irregularity or discomfort of your periods, see your doctor. Sometimes they will put you on birth control just to regulate you.

If you are sexually active, don't panic yet. Take a home pregnancy test (these may not always be accurate though) or go to a women's clinic that gives free tests.
