I'm going to start taking Yaz soon, HELP!?

Question:
Hey I am seventeen I just went for my first obgyn check up which was everything people said it would be, but a little more painful then people said it was. I went there because I get severe cramps every month and needed something, anything for the pain the doctor gave me Yaz, I start taking it the Sunday after my Period starts, which is in a few weeks, I’m so scared I keep hearing horrible things about it; I want to cry, the doctor said it's good and all this stuff but I'm so nervous about taking it and school starts around the time I start taking it :( this is just more unwanted stress that I don't need. Do you think I'm just stressing to much, I suffer from bad panic attacks and anxiety I don't take meds cause I want to overcome it myself so maybe I’m just over worrying about yaz? Anything about it I should I know? Do you think it will make me as sick as some or actually help?

Remember that the comments you find on the Internet are not unbiased polls. If someone has a problem with a medication, they are more likely to write about it than the people who had no problem at all. You're also more likely to notice and remember that negative comment.

There are thousands of women who do just fine on Yaz, and it will probably make your life a lot easier by minimizing your period problems.

Hope this year will start getting better for you. It sounds like you've been through a lot. Take care.
First off don't stress. I took BC when I was in HS for bad cramps and it worked wonders! I have had quite a few friends who have taken Yaz and love it. Try it for a while, if you don't like it go back to your doctor and tell her you want to try a new pill. Many pills have different levels of hormones and work differently. Don't worry about it because you will probably feel much better every month not having to deal with cramps!
slow down little girl, you are way too young to have this much stress over a little thing like period cramps. think positive. the yaz is going to be great, your periods will be so much more comfortable you will wish you had started a long time ago. yes, you may have some side effects, but there is really nothing serious or dangerous to worry about. If you absolutely hate it (which I doubt) you can always stop taking them with no harm done. the pill is very very safe for a young woman like yourself. you may want to consider something for the anxiety, you should be enjoying your life not worried like this
Ur stress wud have already come down after started medication. If not, visit the doc again.
Looks like you better try to solve your problem the natural way, instead of Yaz and stuff?
Not sure if this is for you, cause I'm not suffering from anything but my terrible backache, but worth a look anyway, I guess.
My sister in law, living in Australia, suffered from anxiety and panic attacks like you for years and tried I don't know how many treatments and cures, in vain. Now she has no idea how to use a computer, always afraid to ruin something and cause a crash. So I started some researches for her and downloaded many different ebooks and stuff (lots of crap), not really expecting to find any reasonable enlightenments, but surprise, surprise ...
There is one guy with so many astounding testimonials for his product, that I had a closer look at his stuff. Well, after reading all the testimonials and positive reviews on google I sent the link to my brother and he bought it.
Last week I received a postcard from Mauritius from my brother and his wife. Unbelievable, my sister in law in an airplane, not by force, without tranquilizers and stuff!
Maybe this will help you too:

I've been taking Yaz for a while and nothing horrible has ever happened. It is a very safe pill with only few people experiencing severe reactions. It wont make you sick, but it might take a month or two months to get the cramps to subside. That's also why I take Yaz, and after 2 months I could barley tell my cramps were there.
