Period? Hello?

Its totally normal not to have started yet. Yes weight might be an issue, but don't worry you'll probably get it a little later than your friends. A lot of things can make you start late, but don't worry. I started at 15. If you don't start by 16 gain some weight and if that dosen't work then ask your mom. If you don't eat beef then you might start much later because of the horomones added to meat. Just remember that you can get slimy down there before your period. So if you get that than keep some pads with you just in case. Find out from your mom when she started, and when she got boobs. Don't worry!!
dont worry about it some people dont get it till their 16 its normal
shouldnt be an issue. some girls just get them sooner than others. you prob just a late bloomer. ask your mom to take u to the dr.
Hunny dont even worry about it, some of my friends didnt even get it till they were 18! CHERISH IT!! BE THANKFULL! Dont worry, everybody's body works at its own pace.
Give it some time u'll start sooner or later. No weight doesn't matter.
All I can tell you is that I didn't get mine until I was 15.
Everyone is different. I didn't get mine till I was 14 maybe 15.
You're normal. Everyone starts at different times. I started at 11 and my oldest sister started when she 14. Trust me, PMS (cramps, bloating, irritableness) is nothing to wish would hurry up. :)
You will get your period when your ready.
Some people get theirs when they turn 8.
Some people get theirs when they're 15.
Just dont worry about it, You'll get it when your body is ready for it.
Go to the doctor.
Your weight probablyhas nothing to do with it. Sometimes it takes longer for some girls to start their periods and that is completely normal. I know me telling you to be thankful that you don't have it yet doesn't really help you know because you feel like you wish it would just hurry up so you can be like everyone else...but really later in life you will be thankful it took longer. Now, unless you are a gymnast and excersise for hours a day training...you can almost guarantee yourself a period within the next year. But if it takes longer, don't sweat it at all. It will come in due time.
it might be a weight issue, are you really stressed or really active? that could put it off
when did your mom/sisters get theirs? you might get yours around the same time
or you could take after your dads mom
im 14 and dont have mine yet either
The weight really has nothing to do with it. Just wait until your turn arrives...why compare yourself to others. You are unique in every way...I hope you understand this as you get older each year. Don't try to be like everyone else. Take care.
Its ok! i was the same like you all my friends got it so early and i felt really left out!! well im 15 and i just go tmy 1st period like a month before my 15th birthday!! its really normal!! it might be because of weight issue because thats wat they told me but dont force yourself to eat more or anything! it will come when it will come and its better to have it a lil later because your friends can really help you and give you good info!
are you in a race with your friends or something? you don't want yours, life is easyer without it...they're messy and cramps are a *****
Hi!
You're quite young so don't worry about it. You are a little underweight although I don't think it has anything to do with getting your period or not. Still, you could gain a few pounds. It's not because of the period issue, just because at 5'4 it's not healthy to weigh 95 lbs. You should gain 20 lbs.
Good luck!
If you are underweight, that can certainly delay the onset of menstuation. It's girls who are underweight who sometimes don't get their periods, because a certain amount of body fat — approximately one quarter of a girl's total weight — is needed to produce hormones.
However, if you are not underweight, then it is probably just not your time yet. It is normal to wait until you are 16 or even 17.
yea.. part of it could be.. depends on ur family.. also
weight can be an issue, you need a certian amount of body fat to have your period. you are only 13, and its usual not to have your period at this age.
Not everyone matures at the same rate. U will get urs soon enough. Girls can get their period any time from like 11 to 16 or so anyways.
