Has anyone tryed the ceverical cancer shot?

Question:
If you have then could you tell me what styoms you had and if the shot itself hert. I am scared of needals and would really like to know for someone that has had it. I think its called Garasell

Answers:
i got the shot, and you have to get a series of three over a period of time, i got mine in like june, now in a couple of weeks, and again in november.

it does hurt, im not gonna lie, it feels like a tetnus shot afterwards. when you get it, you should get a paper for your parents to read over wether or not they want you to get it. it will say the symptoms too...you could get a fever, soreness in the area and all that good stuff, but in the end its totally worth it, it oculd save your life =]]
The Gardasil shot?
Well, from what I remember, my friend just complained of her arm she got the shot in being sore.
But if your doctors/nurses are nice, they'll ask which arm.

It's a 3-shot thing, though.
Gardasil for for females 9-26. The shot is a little painful but nothing you cant handle. PLEASE use your spell check feature.
My daughters got it as did I, but none of us had any reaction. it is just a normal shot. it doesn't make you sick or anything. there are no risks involved. i recommend getting it. good luck. you will be fine.
They tried to give it to our daughter at her well exam (11)
I said not yet I just didn't want to be one of the first people 'experimenting' I also know an MD who works for the company who makes it and she said not to get it before 13 and not to many people suffer side effects - Sorry, wish I could help more but I did want to mention it.
My daughters doctor said if he could go back for his own 19 year old and pick one shot, he'd have chosen this -
I have had two of the three and they are small needles they don't hurt there is a little burn as they inject, it lasts for like 3 seconds and they no more pain. I didn't have any side effects, and my doctor told me they haven't had anyone tell them they did either. Its not bad at all real quick and insurence usually will pay for the shots 100%. Its also way worth it I already have one strain of HPV and i'm at a stage 3 and waiting to see if I have cancer. I've gone through alot of pain and tests and just aweful things that I could have prevented had we known about the shot earlier. So definately get it.
yes. its Gardisal and i got it. its a series of three shots, so you have to go back twice after the first shot. the first two times, it did not hurt at all and I had no problems. But the third time it kinda hurt (not that much) and was pretty swollen. the swelling lasted for about three days, but that was only because i had a different doctor than the first two times. so if you get it, it wont hurt at all. maybe you'll get some swelling but other than that i had no side effects. oh and if your wondering you get the shot in your arm.
i did i got it done last week it hurt really bad but i had also gotten other shots and the gardisil one didnt get sore after ward like the other one did. u can ask ure doctor about it he'll give u a paper about the sideeffects
Yea I have gotton the Gardasil shot. I got all 3. I didn't get any symptons. Its like any other shot. It may hurt for a few seconds after, but then you are fine. Just get an ICEE afterwards. . . lol. Good luck.
I had to first of 3 shots on Monday. The actual shot stung a bit but it wasn't anything to worry about. The next day my arm was a bit sore but that where the only symtoms I had. I have to have another shot in 2 months and then another one 4 months after that.
