There's nothing wrong. As long as you ARE menstruating, you're fine...for the time being. 4 months is hardly time to give your body to become regulated let alone "normal." BTW, there are averages, but if this is what YOU do every time, then this is NORMAL for YOU.
Some women are just lucky and don't bleed buckets every month. Be thankful that you don't currently run the risk of anemia!
If by the time you've had your period for 3-4 years and you're still SUPER light, THEN go back to the doc's again. Chances are though that he/she will still say it's fine.
if you've already seen a doctor, i would trust their opinion and have patience.
It eventually will get heavier over time. When you first get it, it is very irregular. My period was very light when I first got it, but now, it is super heavy.
Be thankful that it is that light for now. Before long it will get heavier and you will be wishing it wouldn't have. As long as you have seen a doctor then you have nothing to worry about. After a few years of heavier menstrarion you will be praying for menopause!
If you have been bleeding since April you should definitely get checked out, maybe even an ultrasound (sonogram) to make sure you are completely healthy. There are several things that could cause long term bleeds, some minor but some serious. Although you are bleeding lightly, they may want to check your hemoglobin levels and run a CBC as a base. If your regular Dr. or Gyn does not show concern, get a second or third opinion. I bled a lot for six months after losing my twin boys late in pregnancy and my GYN told me it was OK. He was wrong, and I found out later wrong about many things. There are good and bad (not personality, but skills or knowledge) Dr.'s just as there are smarter and less smart people out there. My Doc had a great bedside manor, just ended up being a lousy physician. Good luck.
I may have misunderstood, if you have been having regular periods but they are very light and you only began having periods in April, the others are right Count your blessings! Mine used to be very light too, for several years in fact and oh how I miss those days!
Light period is easier to manage then a heavy one. Enjoy it while you can. Trust your doctor or find a new one. Or do you want something to be wrong with you?
That normal. When I first got mine, it was really light for a few months, then I didn't get it all all for about 2 months. Then I finally got it and it was super heavy and lasted 2 weeks! It's normal to be crazy like that for a first few years.
itd def. normal gur don wry..its betta den heavy!
