When it comes to vanity issues I do think it is a bit vain to want plastic surgery, but sometimes its necessary (breast reduction or reconstruction, they just lost a ton of weight and have rolls of skin to get rid of).
People don't realize just how airbrushed those models in magazines are. I saw one online a long time ago but the transformation was amazing. She wasn't ugly in the first place, but they made her almost anorexic.

By watching these shows you are adding to the viewing figures which tells the shows makers that there is a demand for this sort of stuff
You cant knock it when you obviously get enjoyment out of watching these programmes otherwise you would hcange the channel!
Many people believe (especially in California) that you will feel better if the outside package looks good. Now maybe the outside package makes you feel beautiful but that does not resolve the issues that life deals out, right? Lot of short term thinkers.
I totally agree. I think that America is more obsessed with it than any other country. Why do we care so much what we look like? And why is no one ever beautiful with everything natural anymore?
i agree.. what is with Americas and being a size 0! they look like sticks. and some Americas be sick because they want to be skinny. its so sad. they want to look pretty when they don't have to because some of them have good personalty. its such a shame what they do to they selves. why do they want to be so perfect? they think the answer to every thing is PLASTIC SURGERY!
i think plastic sugery is ok to an extent, but dont understand wyh so many people are taking it to the extreme! theres better and more needy things to spend your money on these days, and who's shallow enough to want to change literally EVERYTHING about themselves!? half of these people look glamouous enough before surgery!
