I either started mine when I was 14 or 15. I got it during the night. I was kind of spot bleeding for a few days before then.
Don't worry about it. Keep some sanitary towels in your bag just in case, but you'll probably feel it starting - in this case go to the toilet & use a pad if necessary.

My mom didn't get hers until she was 16. So don't feel bad. A girls supposed to get it between the ages of 9 - 17.
well,i had mine when i was 11 and my mom had hers when she was 13,and i had The same problem as you.but i just started acting like a bi*** and i was always in a bad mood,that's how you know if its coming and in 6th grade i wore a pad everyday just in case.I'm sure you'll be fine

It really varies from 9 until anywhere in your teens. Don't worry it will come. Uusually the week before you have mood swings and feel gumpy. You also crave food and your weight goes up a pound or so. Your breast get tender too and you might start to feel slight cramping sensation. It is good to talk to your parents and have supplies in your purse or locker if the inevitable happens away from home. Don't be afraid to talk to a female teacher or couselor if it starts. We all understand and have been in your shoes before. You probably won't be having heavy periods at first, so you should be okay to make it to a restroom before a big leak strikes.

You will get your period anywhere from 9-17 years old. Don't be afraid. Tell your parents if they are around or any other adult. If you're in school, excuse yourself in the classroom and go to the nurse or office. They will help you. They keep supplies. Most of the teachers are also prepared. It's normal. Don't be scared/
am 16 and i got it @ 14 on the school bus coming home thank god i would be so embarrassed if i got it @ school
