Women only.. birth contoll and period.. problems..??

I have been through this very same thing, and yes, it is probably because you haven't had a period for two months, the addition of the hormones from the birth control pills, and if you have had an ovarian cyst, then that is likely the explanation. Ovarian cysts are not uncommon, and there is a possibility that you had more than one, which is also common. And birth control is a normal treatment for this. It is also common for the cysts to burst during or at the onset of a cycle. The birth control pills will STOP a period, and even prevent it if taken continuously, which you should only do if instructed to do so by your doctor. Also don't forget that clotting is normal, as you are expelling the lining of your uterus where the egg implants itself each month--the clotting is the lining and blood.
I would call the Dr.'s office and confirm all of this--and for your own peace of mind, and go for a check up if needed, it can never hurt to be safe. However I don't think that it is anything for you to really worry about.
I would go and see your doctor again, but it may not be anything to worry about. Chill.
maybe yes... try to consult your doctor regarding this matter.
it could be cos you missed your period the month before but i would definately take a trip to the docs.
Probably both, I have cyst too. I get bad clots as well. When I was on the pill, I got really heavy periods and more clots. When I got off the pill, less clots, still a heavy period though. You may want to call your doctor and let them know about it. They may have a better pill for you that will help with your problem.
Okay.
Birth control is suppose to regulate your periods.
Since, and I am assuming you take the pill, that your body is just adjusting to the medication. Since your period was light, your body may be releasing the blood it needed to when your last cycle was suppose to take place.
Many things could had caused you to have a light period.
Your diet, stress, or even having sex could have shortened your period. There's nothing to worry about though, I'm on the shot, and I'm sure my body will be extremely messed up once I get off of it.
Good Luck.
