Chantix to quit smoking?

Question:
Has anyone taken this? Can you tell me if it worked for you and how long it took you to stop smoking.

Answers:
My mom took this and stopped smoking with in the first week! I think its great! Good luck!
some say yes, others are naysayers. My husband finally decided to quit and did it on hypnosis. He's been since January 21, 2006 without a cigarette but who's counting! Good luck with whatever method you choose...it may take a combination so don't give up whatever you do!
Chantix acts on the nicotine receptors in the brain, which helps you not to have the nicotine cravings - this drug also decreases the pleasure one gets out of smoking. This drug is suppose to quadruple your chance at quitting.

I would say go for it - what do have to lose - except a bad habit. Trust me I know. On Friday I will be smoke free for 2 years.
It worked for my sister. She took it longer than the doctor recommended, to curb the urges. She stopped smoking within the first few weeks, but took the pills for a few months. It also make her naturally want to give up coffee and she was happy about that.
Chantix is an excellent way to quit smoking with few side effects. For more Chantix information, click the following link: http://www.121doc.com/champix.html?a_aid...
Most people will keep taking Chantix for up to 12 weeks.
You have to choose a "quit date" and you have to adapt your body the first week (you can keep smoking during these 7 days but need to stop on your "quit date").
