Sorry, the answer is probably not. While males generally grow until they reach 20-21, females reach their full height a little earlier, about 16-17.
Being short has it's advantages, so capitalize on those. First, you are very petite, and there are many tall girls who would give their eye teeth to be tiny.
A lot of famous females are petite: Rachael Bilson, The Olsen twins, Hilary Duff, Rachael Stevens, etc.
You have so many more fashion options as a petite female, and you can get away with wearing younger styles when you are older.
Try to look at all the plus factors to being the size you are. You can't change it, so embrace your size and enjoy it.

well. God made us all different for a reason. Be proud of who you are ! And remember, good things come in small packages.
you should grow a little taller but girls your age tend to stop growing in height just give your body time and you will see trust me im going through the same thing

You probably won't grow anymore. I love being short sometimes. I'm 19 and I'm 5'1" and a half. My boyfriend thinks it's totally adorable and I wear flats quite often. Like someone else said, there are guys that think short girls are hot.
I know how you feel, I'm 14 and I'm 5'1. Everyone in school, all adults, and my friends all tower over me. I feel like I can't grow. Of course I'm still growing, but you don't even stop growing until you're like 21, so you can still grow another inch or so. Look on the bright side, you will never have to worry about your boyfriend or husband being shorter then you!! =)

You may grow, but not that much. There is nothing wrong with being short. I'm 5 feet nothing and it is perfectly alright by me. Being short does not prevent you from wearing flats. You don't need the extra height from shoes. You need to get over it and learn to accept yourself the way you are.

I guess the question is, what is it about being short that you think is harming you in some way? Sure, the traditional "model" is tall, but there are PLENTY of attractive short women out there. Everybody thinks Eva Longoria is hot, and she's not very tall.
Being short doesn't make you unintelligent or uninteresting.
We all have our flaws. It's what we do with the rest of our features that makes the difference.
Don't take me wrong, I'm not a lesbian or bi, but if I was I'd go for a short girl. I used to hate being short, but now I love it! Just think that you will be able to get more guys (if you prefer taller guys!), and guys find it more attractive! Small girls rawk! Yey for us!
My mom is just under 5'1", her whole family is short. All the women on her side of the family grew to no more than 5' 2". There are no females on either side of our family that's taller than me, at 5'4". My brother (who is about 5' 7") is dating a girl who is shorter than my mom. It just happens. I'm sorry you don't like it, but my mom told me that at 50 years old, she was sick of being told "You're so cute, I could just put you in my pocket!" She can get away with wearing shorter skirts than anybody else her age, and can still wear way cuter clothes, and it doesn't look stupid on her! Maybe eventually you'll learn to see yourself for more than your height.
Girls typically stop growing by the ages of 15 or 16. Sorry I know what you mean though I am 21 years old and I am only 5 foot nothing! I have heard it all when it comes to Jokes! But I just finally gave up on the subject because i knew that i would not grow anymore this is not including width wise! lol Sorry!
You are not that short! My sister is like 4'8. You will probably not grow any more. Just accept who you are and be happy with it.

Since you are 17 it is unlikely that you will grow more.
What you can do is try to change the way you think. Hating your height is not going to change it nor help you!! All it is going to do is make you miserable. Do you want to be miserable? There is no sense in that and it is a waste of your time.
Try to change the way you think. Maybe you can find solace if you can discover something great that people your height did?
Changing your thinking will take time but it is probably your only real solution. Who knows, maybe God made you the way you are so some not very tall man can find a nice woman like you that is not too tall for him? If a male is not very tall it will make it toucher for him to find a woman that will give him the time of day. Maybe you are the princess of some nice man that is not very tall who is waiting to find you and get to know you?

well, I have always been tall. Now that I am 17 (ha me too) I am much more average height (5'8") but I've already had a guy break up with me because I was too tall, and I never feel like I can't wear heals (I love 3-4 inch heals!) ... So I guess everyone wants to be something they're not... also, 5ft isn't that bad. If I were to guess I'd guess that you've always been short- and it is in your head that you are short. That is the way it is for me. Wear what you want- be who you are, bla bla bla (You've heard it)
