It may sound cliched but the Activia yoghurt's do help. I've had problems with my gut for over 7 years as a reaction to chemotherapy. I started having 2 Activia yoghurt's a day and for the past month have been tons better. You could try them or any other product which has live bacteria, it can't make you feel any worse than you already do. Good luck pet.
Take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and disolve in 4 ounces of water. Drink and this should help.
maybe constipated
i had the same problem a few years ago...i went to the hospital, paid a crap-ton for tests (x-rays, mri's) and they came up with nothing. i basically had to sleep it off, even though it took about a week.

feel better!
it sound like IBS (irritable bowl syndrome) to me. its very common in this day and age due to the amount of refined and processed foods we eat on a day to day basis. try eating more natural and organic foods and the problem may reduce. i find that my local health food store has many products that help also.
I have the same problem, here are some tips that might help, it sure helped me.

1. Drink up. Boosting your water intake can work wonders. Water flushes waste out of your system and helps get things moving if you're constipated. And don't forget to eat lots of fruits and veggies, oranges and watermelon are two great options.
2. Eat more fibre. Fibre prevents constipation by adding bulk, which helps everything move through the intestines more quickly.
3. Cut back on gassy foods. Beans and vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage contain sugars that are difficult for some people to digest. But you don't have to give them up entirely. Instead, eat just a half-cup serving of these foods at a time.
4. Get moving. Even a quick ten-minute walk can relieve bloating. Exercise helps gas pass through the digestive tract more quickly, so you feel better faster. And don't neglect your abdominal workout-toned abs make you feel less self-conscious about your belly when you're bloated.
5. Do dairy wisely. If milk, yoghurt, and other dairy products give you gas, start with small servings and slowly up your intake over time, just as you would with other hard-to-digest foods. If gas still gives you grief, try switching to soy or lactose-free foods.
6. Don't bite off more than you can chew. One big cause of bloating is swallowing too much air when you eat. For example, you might gulp air if you snack on the run and eat too quickly, talk while eating, drink from a straw, or down a lot of soda. Force yourself to take more time for meals, skip carbonated drinks, and eat smaller amounts of food at each sitting. One of the easiest ways to reduce the amount of air you swallow: Chew with your mouth closed.

If none of these help, talk with your doctor and ask him/her to prescribe you some pills that will relieve gas from your gut. I used to take charcoal pills and it did wonders for me.
Sounds like it's something you are eating/drinking not suiting you. I find spicy food does this to me. I take Buscopan - available at the pharmacy over the counter - which solves the problem about half an hour after taking a couple of tablets. It's a medication for irritable bowel problems, but it works fine for me when I experience this.
Try eating less gas forming foods and smaller meals. Try high fibre cereals and drink lots and lots of filtered water and do some sit-ups with your knees bent.

If you feel like you have trapped wind try eating an apple and sipping hot tea together. Then go for a walk on your own to see the results.

Hope this helps If this keeps happening perhaps you should seek help from your G.P.

I know how uncomfortable this feels, wear loose clothing for a while.
