Err.. Tampons?

My mum is umm sort of "scoorge" and wont let me use more than 3 per period, I personally think its too little... What do you think?

i nomally only use 2 a day. i leave it in for 8 hours
if you only use 3 tampons a period, you could get TSS (toxic shock syndrome) from keeping it in too long. i usually use close to a full box of tampons (20 to a box) and 5 or 6 pads, but i only use those when i sleep.
You mean 3 pads or tampons? Wow, that wouldn't work for me! I need almost a box of tampons each time. Or I should say I did, I bought this thing called a Diva Cup and I love it. I got mine from Amazon.com It's silicone and washable and lasts a lifetime. It's also a lot less messy, and think of all the money you can save...
im thinkin so to i use atleast 10 per period but i have a 7 day period but i would sneak and use more than 3 that suckss or you could talk to your mom about it
with tampons, you should go through at least 3 a day as they shouldn't be in longer than 8 hours. there are 24 hours in a day. and the pad should be changed at least 3 times a day as well as it will get full and smell, not to mention the chance of bacteria growing. you're right, it is way too little.
last time i used about a whole pack of pads (like 25) but i get my period heavy and for about a week
ok i have only had my period once but it lasted for 4 or 5 days and i used about 10 pads since my flow wasnt heavy but one for day one for night each day

You should change your tampon every 6-8 hours at the longest. And as for pads, after a couple hours they get so full and disgusting I change those way more often than when I use tampons..
I tend to have a heavy flow and change the tampon every 3 or 4 hours hours and I wear a back-up pad on the really heavy days. I go through almost a whole box of tampons each cycle.
What? She only lets you use 3 the whole time? Your supposed to change them like every 3 hours throughout the entire day and throughout the entire period. I would say I go through about 24 or more during my period.
thats mean , mabey 10 to 15 tampons and 5 pads at night
