Birth control and period question?
Question:
Answers:
There are really no scientific numbers for that. You can have unprotected sex while on Birth control and be 99% protected. I would suggest using condoms to feel more asured.
Yep, you're equally safe at all times. Using a condom is a great backup though, and BC is only perfectly effective if you do it perfectly. Be careful.
Feel free to go for it when you've had two periods...basically when you start the third month.
You are about 99.6% pregnant free any time of the month, but the fact that you have sex during your period kind of grosses me out...
There's like a less an one percent chance that you will get pregnant. If you're taking your pills the same time every day and are remembering to actually take them every day you should be fine.
You are protected against pregnancy immediately after taking a pill
Effectiveness:
The pill is one of the most effective reversible methods of birth control. Of 100 women who use the pill, only eight will become pregnant during the first year of typical use.* Fewer than one will become pregnant with perfect use.** Maybe slightly less effective for overweight women..
