What is a good diet?

Question:
im 19 years old im 5 feet tall and weigh 220 pounds. Diabetes runs in my family, and I don't want to get it. Any suggestions on a diet?

Answers:
you are obese and if you dont want to get diabetes youd better act quickly. cut out all greasy food, empty carbs and empty calories. eat LOTS of fresh vegetables. dont eat breads, pastries, pasta, chocolate, sweets, soda, butter, etc. dont eat any fast food and drink 3-4 liters a day. you need to exercise at least an hour day. you can start by going for brisk walks. remember to count your calories, eat 1200 -1500 a day. you can get a free online journal that will track your calories and weight loss and that will make it easy for you. find a plan and stick to it. if you stick to 1200 calories a day and get an hour of exercise you should lose around 3-4 pounds a week and be able to keep them off. good luck!
wow. 220 pounds! ah. okay start with

breakfast: a banana and a fruit yogurt/orange juice
lunch: a sandwitch
dinner: a salad
Plenty of regular exercise, eat fresh fruit and vegetables and lean means. Cut out lollies, chocolate, fried foods.
try weightwatchers it works awesome and its not restricting your favorite foods. i lost 22 pounds but then went off it but not im going back on it but its worth the money and the meetings help:)
