Will i be okay?

Answers:
why not switch to Pads, tomorrow
You shouldn't leave one in for more than 8 hours I think. But only you know your flow, wont you be able to change it?
NO you cannot leave a tampon in longer than 4 hours at a time. YOU MUST change it AT LEAST every 4 hours. Take some extra tampons and put them in a pocket, your purse or a locker and change it as scheduled. You mentioned using 2 super tampons a day at the start of your period and lets face it there are 24 hours in a day so you are not changing your tampon often enough as it is.
Usually it lightens up on the 4th day. The 3rd is usually the worst. A super tampon probably will last that long. You might want to change it during lunch or something so you dont risk TSS. For me I keep it in all day during school unless I have to change it. Hope this helps :]]

Periods can last to about 7 days. I agree with the person that says change them every 8 hours or when they fill. I always put a day pad in to protect from spillage.
You shouldn't leave a tampon in for longer than 8hours no matter how large it is.
Don't you get any bathroom breaks? You need to use the lightest absobancy you can and change it AT LEAST every 8 hours. (to prevent risk of TSS) If you can't change it at least once, could you wear a super absobancy pad? The thin ones are fairly confortable.
Well how long is your period overall usually? Mine lasts 3-5, no more than 7 if i go longer than 5.
Normal periods usually are 5-7 days on average. Every woman is different.
If you're in the middle to end of your cycle, then yes it will get lighter eventually.
NO it is NEVER O.K. to leave a tampon in for that long no matter what the absorbency, not even the really light ones. I use pads mostly myself, but I've heard that it is not good to leave tampons in that long from sex education in middle school. I'm in college now.
I would switch to PADS starting tommorrow because there is less risk of TSS with them and you can swim for hours or whatever it is you have to do during the day if not swim, with them on. They just get crinkly and that can get annoying but a little annoyance or inconvience is a lot better than major trouble because you got TSS from a tampon left in too long.
You should if you use pads change them as needed (i.e. you run over on underwear) or as a rule every 4-6 hours ... tampons should be changed more often and you should not leave them as long. Tampon use is something you really have to keep a closer eye on. Switch to pads, honey. It's easier. At least do it for camp if not everything else.
well im not dead yet and i sleep with a super plus tampon in. I hate pads, especially at night. Is there any way you could just change it in the middle of the day? If i were you, i would were a super and a light pad and then change in the middle of the day.
