I have a colposcopy interview this morning and I be terrified.?
Answers: What they will do is just bring a small sample of the tissue around the cervix. The tryout is used to rule out cancer, and it is a fairly adjectives procedure when the cervix cannot be viewed greatly well. They will look at the tissue taste under a microscope to see if at hand are any cancer cells. If nearby are, which is rather unlikely, they enjoy caught it in its earliest stages and when it is most curable. If in attendance are no suspicious cells, next you're home free. That's probably what the technician meant when he said not to verbs. The test is a moment ago routine, and it doesn't mean that they suspect cancer. You will probably be given a local anesthetic so you won't perceive any pain during the procedure, which does not transport but a few minutes.
I had it done, and it wasn't serious. If you didn't make out the doctor, you should have a short time ago asked him right then!
:) you will be fine - the procedure is in fact quite adjectives.
I had this done 3 years ago. It is no worse than a mundane cervical smear. You dont feel anything
They are conducting tests for pre-cancerous cells. You hold a very small bleed afterwards but no agony. Then they let you know something like the sample. Please dont verbs this is very, drastically common . ITs over within about 15 mins.
They dont really cut you, they cauterise you. When I have it done and came outside into the waiting room I have a big grin on my face, my Mum be sitting there looking worried. She asked me what I be grinnning at...I told her that I had basically watched smoke coming out of me flue. She laugh like hell and so did I. The Nurses looked at us as if we be mad.
So dont verbs you will be fine. Godbless xx
