Question:
Like I said, I started my birth control 2 weeks ago today. I then was on my period for a week, which normally I'm only on it for 5 days. Then I was off my period for a week, and I seem to have started again today (another week later). I'm scared though because I screwed up and had unprotected sex three times since I started B.C. About a week after I started birth control I had unprotected sex twice. Then a week after that (last night) I did again. Please no comments about my stupidity. I realize I should have waited, but I didn't and there's nothing I can do to change it. I'm just looking for advice on if this is normal or if it means I'm pregnant (implanation bleeding or whatever it's called...) This is my first pack of pills and I just started the third week of pills (next week is supposed to be the blanks) Anyway, any advice would be very much appreciated.
Answers:
It's perfectly normal for you to have abnormal bleeding during the first couple of months. By the way, you have withdrawal bleeding and breakthrough bleeding but technically (and this is actually important) you don't really have a period when you're taking oral contraceptives. Of course you could be pregnant, but chances are it's just the time of adjustment.
i have never heard of that before but if i were you i would just take a preg. test to make sure your not, then if you not, then you should worry about whats wrong. Sometimes it just takes a while for your body to get used to the hormones
Just keep taking your pills.
Don't take the blank ones.
Just start the new month cycle ones.
birth control makes your period act stupid anyway,i would say wait another month and see what happens, and TRY to use condoms.i know its hard, believe me.
