I swim a lot at a public pool on a swim team. what would i do if i got my period in the pool??

Question:
i haven't started yet... but what do you think i should do if it happens?

Answers:
wear a tampon
it wont, it might when u get out of the pool. act calm, everyone gets it @ 1 time!
Well I've found when I swim (while on my period) it actually subsides for a time, lessens or stops for a few hours. If it starts, it won't be gushing! Actually no one will know. I'd suggest having a tampon on hand so that if you need it you can use it. Take it out right after you finish swimming!
use a tampon
I don't think women typically "start" there period in any kind of water wether it's a swimming pool, shower, hot tub, whatever. Most women can feel when they have started, I guess just keep some tampons or pads handy in the locker room just in case you feel something extra wet between your legs.
I think I would get out of the pool, but if you are in a swim team and you swim often I think you should were a tampon. Tampons are meant for sports.
If you get it while swimming, it won't come out. The pressure of the water will keep it inside you, but it will come out when you get out of the pool. Just keep pads/tampons on hand.
just have a tampon in your bag
if you think you got it insert it
it wont come in the water
