What is the best type of birth control pill?

There's no universal best pill. Some work for women while on others have bad side effects, some work great in the short term but on the long term they stop working. I tried marvelon for about 8-12 months, i went psycho at the end, i tried many more but none really worked, in a couple of months I will get a test to know the hormonal balance in my body to know what percentage or hormones I should get from the pills to get them balanced for myself. The only thing I could tell you if you want pills is to go to the doctors and ask to get your hormone levels check so they can balance a pill for you or find one that fits your "body".
ive been on several, depending on my body's own hormones at the time what's been best has changed several times. you and your dr may have to experiment to find the right one for you. now i have 2 kids, am very busy, and have a hard time remembering to take a pill the same time everyday, so i am on the nuva ring. i love it! put it in, leave it in for 3 weeks, take it out for a week , and put another one in. much much easier than the pill.
I use the Nuva Ring i think its so easy to do and you dont have to worry about taking a pill every day you just put it in for 21 days and take it out for 7 days and than put a new one in and it doesnt fall out and my partner could never feel it when having sex.
Keep in mind that the best type for me will not necessarily be the best type for you. I'm taking Yaz strictly for PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), and for me, it's been working wonders.
