what do you mean like you havent gotten it before? this can range anywhere from about 11 years of age to even before youre 19, some girls get theirs later than others and theres nothing wrong with that at all...
also ive heard it has to do with the size of the girl, slighter girls may get theirs later than heavier girls but ive found no reason to find this entirely true...
There's nothing "typical" about getting your period. The AVERAGE is about 11.5 years, however some girls get it as young as 8 or 9, while others don't have a period till they're 15, 16, or even older.
Every one is different most girls start their period by age 12 some younger some are older . Ask your mom what age she started.It's has ever thing to do with the women in your family normally start their period. Are you the only girl ? What age( if you have another)did your older sister start ?
I was 10 years old but I was about 5'4" and 125 lbs. My mom was 13 when she got hers so it's not always at the same age as when your mom got it. If you are only 90 lbs, you may get it a bit later than sooner. I had a friend who was about 90 lbs and very small framed and she didn't get hers until she was 16. It's different for everyone.
Normal is 9-18yr, but the typical 12-14yrs.
I was only 12 for a week when I got mine for the first time. And I only weighed 95 pounds. But it doesn't really matter that much about age, there are other signs that'll tell you when you are close to getting it. =)
