I missed a bc pill on Monday. I took only one at my regular time on Tuesday. Should I worry?
Question:
I am responsible with it, and I know I should have consulted a doctor before switching my pill times.
Answers:
You don't really need to talk to your doctor regarding switching pill times, but you could have switched times when you started a new pack (if you did switch when you started a new pack, then ignore my comment).
Read your pamphlet on what to do if you miss a pill. Mine (Kariva) says to take it as soon as you remember then take the next one at the regularly scheduled time and use protection for the next seven days if you plan on having sex. If I miss two, I take two one day and two the next day also using protection for the next seven days. If I miss three or more I need to call the doctor and get her advice.
What pill are you on? Talk to your doctor.
when i was on the pill and i missed one... i asked my doctor about it and she said to take the one you missed and the one due for that day at the same time...just dont miss more than 1 pill...otherwise you will have to stop taking the pills and restart them the next month...
read your pill pack they give you exact directions... if you change times just dont have unprotected sex for a day or two... its doesnt really matter ive done it and didnt get pregnant. id ont think you need ec for missing ONE day. you just take the one you missed and the day your on right now. then if you miss two same thing take the missed ones and the day youre on and use a back up for 7 days if you miss 3 start a new pack if you dont have your pack info paper look online for your pills name and go to their site
