Playtex, Tampax, Kotex, etc.
Everyone is different and I found this is a great way to try product without spending all the money!
being a newbie,,try the small,if that leaks out,try the med..whatever is right for your particular situation.They have a teen tampon.I'd use the cardboard,,and I think they have a new kind of cardboard.my daughter uses the playtex.
You should look for slim fits. They're made for teens.
use tampax pearl and start with a regular if your pretty heavy flow and if its a abit hard to put in, use lube and apply it to the top part of the tampon where you insert it and it will take some tries but u will finally get it

Yes plastic work best. And the slims for teens would be what u should try first. As for as brands I would try the cheapest ones.

you shouldn't use tampons at 13. Pads are much safer and more sanitary.
