Period and Diarreha?

I was lately wondering, do you girls get diarreha when you are on your period?? I have severe and horrible diarreha since yersteday even when i drink marine about 30 second after i have to turn to the bathroom it is just awful and consequently i feel terrifically dizzy also.. Is this normal, the diarreha problem? Thanks!

Answers:    You should speak to a condition care professional in the order of this problem. I don't have diarrhea similar to you mention, but I do use the bathroom much more frequently when I'm on my period. Check out this information to take to mean why:

"Pain from menstrual cramps is a result of contractions of your uterus, which are caused by prostaglandins. Prostaglandins circulate surrounded by your bloodstream and they can cause diarrhea because they also speed up contractions contained by your intestines."
