Urget! Please help!?
Question:
I can't get my next perscription until monday. I usually take the pill at night, it's 7.30pm. My good friend along the road is on the pill, a different brand though. I'm not at home. i'm baby sitting at my aunties. But could I borrow a packet off her and use them?
Please help! This is really important
Answers:
Don't worry. Just refrain from intercourse until you get yourself back on the pill on a regular basis. Your period shouldn't begin again this week; once you start your new pack, your next period should not show up until the placebo pill section - even though it may make you "late".
Do not, whatever you do, use your friend's pills. It may be the same as yours, but your prescription is yours and hers is hers, she is on a cycle of pills also.
it is not a good idea to use other people's pills-
u will prob start bleeding again once off of the pills-
AND u are Definitely not protected against pregnancy-seeing ur boyfriend
Hi Walking, That's wouldn't be a good ideal. Your perscription are probably different. You should wait until mondy call your doctor and tell him what happen. He will advice you.

It's not a good idea to take from your friend because it could cause other problems. I would recommend calling your doctor's after hours line to leave a message for the doctor to call you to see what they suggest.
Failure, to take a dose or two of an oral contraceptive, does not cause the medication level in your blood stream to suddenly drop off. It will taper off, as the estradiol is metabolized.
The usual instructions, for a missed dose is, take the missed dose as soon as possible, even if it means taking two doses as once. Your physician, may instruct you to take one double dose, and discard the other missed doses, or he may tell you to just start taking the OC when you get them. Given you completed the months supply, i.e., you ran out at end-of-cycle, and birth control is no the objective, I am confident you will be just fine.
However, it is important you contact your physician, and follow his advice.
I am glad your problem is sorted out. You unnecessarily stressed out which you should avoid while having exams. However, you must see my answer to your other question on the same topic.
