Im so scared of my period!?!?!?
Question:
If i play sports when i have my period i know it gets heavier but wont it go away quicker then?
Should i stay active like everyday so it wont last as long?
When u go up in a plane dose your period get worst?
Is it true if u spot for the whole day u will get your period later or possiably the next day?
Answers:
u really need to calm down and stop asking question. u will be ok..
Don't be scared, you get used to it after a while. I use tampons, they work the best.
Being active and bleeding more does NOT make it end any sooner. It's not like there's a certain amount of blood in you, and once it's gone, it's gone. It's the cleansing of the hymen, and you can't speed it up at all (unless you are taking birth control pills).
I've never heard that going in a plane makes it worse. Spotting is the first sign of a period, so you should expect it later that day or maybe the next morning.
You shouldn't be scared when having a period. Nearly every single woman on earth goes through it. If big pads are uncomfortable, try using tampons. They are so comfortable you won't even know you're wearing one, and you can do sports and everything- even swim. Just don't forget to change it often.
umm u cant just wear panty liners, and all of those things arent true. tampons are good cuz you cant feel them. nothing changes your period except for like stress and hormones.
You should check out the other types of pads. There are the ultra thin pads that absorb more, they don't have to be big and bulky to absorb. A panty liner is more likely to leak and get all over your clothing, so you really should try some other types.
There's no way to know if playing sports will shorten your period. My guess is that you are very young, and therefore your periods will be irregular for at least a few months. Until your period has become regular, you won't really know what helps with symptoms and/or may make it seem shorter or longer.
Being on a plane shouldn't affect your period. It may be uncomfortable because you'll be sitting for long, but it won't affect your flow directly.
Spotting is generally common for the day before your period begins, so yes, but it could also be a few weeks away. Like I said before, there's no way to know for sure until your period starts coming on a regular schedule. When it becomes regular, you'll begin to learn all the signs and know exactly what to expect.
I was scared of it when I was young too. I changed my pads so much, finally my mum wondered why I was going through so many.
I would suggest you learn how to use tampons, you don't feel so aware of your period with them.
it's ok! it's not that bad!
there are different types of pads, panty liners won't do that much...if big pads aren't comfortable, try wearing the light pads, and wear sweat pants or shorts or mesh shorts or lose pants, not tight jeans. it makes a big difference. you'll get used to the pads though. you should really only wear panty liners for spotting, it won't do much protection during your cycle/you'll have to change it VERY frequently. eventually you'll be able to use tampons.
it's ok to go to the bathroom and check up on your period, just don't get obsessive! when you wear pads you don't have to change it after every class! only change it when it needs to be changed, and you'll probably soon figure out how many classes it takes to use up a whole pad. maybe every 3 classes you might need a new pad or something. when you start wearing tampons, you'll find life a lot easier... you wont have to change it once during school (usually).
it's supposed to be healthy to stay active and excersize with your period, It will help with cramps and bloating and regular excersize helps to regulate your cycle.
Exercising during your period decreases the pain of cramps by loosening muscles in your lower abdomen (stomach), back and thighs. It helps you get rid of excess water so you don’t feel so bloated. Exercise boosts your mood, making you less sensitive, angry, or depressed. It doesn’t take much exercise to get these benefits.
A plane doesn't make a difference.
Usually you spot a day or two before you get your period. It's light though, it's like a little heads up. It's kinda nice to have, it's like "hey you, you're going to get your period tomorrow so be prepared!". Sometimes you spot after your cycle ends, but not everyone does. Once again, it's just light.
And don't be scared! EVERYONE gets their periods and has to learn to deal with them! It's ok! It's better to be relaxed about it then all stressed out.
You really shouldn't rely on a panty liner to hold the blood. YOu're going to have a nasty surprise soooner or later. Try using a tampon, they are MUCH more comfortable.
ok .first,u need to calm down.relax.now it's good to kno ur period.u need to kno if ur heavy, how long u have it,wat causes u to have cramps, etc.
also,i recommend playtexsport for ur staying active problem.
not sure if it gets worse when ur in a plane.i don't think so.
yes ,if u spot it means that ur gonna get it soon.
First of all, calm down! You are making a big deal about something that will seem so silly when you get it!
Go on the website of some pad makers like Always:
http://www.always-info.co.uk/en_uk/produ...
Read about their products, theirs loads of different kinds and you will find one to suit you!
When you play sports, it doesn't get heavier!
Being active everyday won't make your period shorter, but exercising can help reduce stomach cramps and its a good idea to stay active anyway!
No, your period stays the same on land, in the sky, on a boat, underground... whatever!
It might be true, it might not. It depends on the person. If you do start spotting, put on a pantyliner or a pad in case.
