Period question, i skipped a month?
Question:
sorrry if this is a dumb question. thanks!
Answers:
you didn't skip, you were two weeks late. you've only been getting your period a little over a year, irregular cycles is normal the first few years. it's not a dumb question, it takes time to get used to it all and to understand it.

No dumb questions - if you're sincere.
When females begin menstruation the cycles are generally not as regular as adult women. There is tremendous variance amongst females but usually the first two years are very irregular, frequently missing months and often breakthrough menses ("spotting") when you're least expecting it. The regular cycles begin to stabilize after two years and by 18 they settle down into a routine until menopause - when the irregularities begin all over.
i had the same prob wen i started my period. i skipped for like, 50 sumthin days and i got really worried. i told my mom and she said its normal the first time, second time, for a while. if it keeps on delaying, see a doctor. good luck!
there are many possible causes why you skipped a period. amenorrhea or lack of menstrual period may be caused by pregnancy, breastfeeding, and extreme weight loss caused by serious illness, eating disorders, excessive exercising, or stress. Hormonal problems (involving the pituitary, thyroid, ovary, or adrenal glands) or problems with the reproductive organs may be involved.
