I REALLY think i should tell my mom but i dont know whats stopping me...?

Question:
Today this morning i was fine... i took a shower and got on my school clothes... later at school i went to the bathroom because i was holding it for a long time... then i noticed that there was some brown dried stuff in the bottom of my undies... in health class they talked about periods, but im not sure if it is or not. they said it was red... so i dont know what to do... should i tell my mom? or just forget about it?

Answers:
tell your mum so she can tell yu what's wrong. it's probably just your period. nobody really knows what it's going to be like until you have one so talk to your mum now so she can put you at ease.

if it is your period (which it certainly sounds like it) there's nothing to worry about. it will get a little heavier and will last about 5-7 days although some peoples' can be shorter or longer. your first period may be longer and heavier or only last a day and be really light. it's your body trying to adjust that's all.

i had to explain this to my little sister when she went through the same thing and she adapted quickly. it's no great hassle and nearly every single woman of a certain age has a period so dont panic.

speak to your mum and put your mind at rest.
Hi there this sounds like you periods starting , when i get my periods i always have a brown discharge to tell me there on the way ,i think you should tell your mom as i would expect in the next few days you will experience your periods , brown stuff is nothing to be worried about at all , it's just you bodies way of telling you they are coming.

take care of yourself
yes it sounds like your periods. and yes you should tell your mum so she can get you some pads.
Please tell your mom. It is probably just the beginning of it. Nature's way of giving you an advanced warning. Grams
Please tell your mom.It cud be the starting of you period,or it could be something else.
Your mom will be pleased you asked her advice. If you can't tell your mom tell a good friend or another female or pop to see the nurse.

PLEASE DONT FORGET IT
Yep, welcome to womanhood! I think you did start your period. I had the same thing and my Mom couldn't accept that at age 12 I had started and told me that I probably just farted and got alittle poo in my undies! LOL! She found out a few hours later when it came on full force and red. Don't worry, but do tell your Mom.
Tell your mom it's just your period.
Nothing to worry about.
It was brown because the blood after a while turns brown.
Its nothing but your period trust me it happened to me too so tell your mom and everything will be fine(:
YES! TELL YOUR MOM! she has to know! plus there is nothing to lose if you tell your mom.
ohhh never mind, its the start of your period you will find that your period will be brown on the first day of starting or coming on for a few periods and eventually will start going red, but on every period the last days your period becomes brown its just cleaning everything out nothing to worty about just tell your mum she will understand shes gone through it an probley still does so your be alright if you dont tell her where you going to get the essentials from?? lol just tell her its nothing too worry about at all, i mean my lil sister is terribly worried about telling my mum she was fine so was I you will be absolutly fine hun.
