If you have blood in your urine then you need to see a doctor asap, especially if you have chills. It sounds like the infection has moved to your kidneys, and that's an emergency.

Try AZO it is over the counter. You won't pee your blood out, but I don't know how the heck you can stand it until the morning. I have had 2 UTI"s and they are excruciating. If you have any antibiotics at home, take one of them...also, cranberry juice helps some. Hope you feel better!
I had a UTI about 2 years ago and decided to let it go until morning when I could make an appointment.bad idea. I was up all night in excruciating pain and it spread to my kidney. That would probably be the ache in your side. It can spread very quickly. I would definately go to the ER, before it gets even worse. Good luck sweetie!
It certainly sounds like a UTI, and there may be kidney stones as well. The only way to know is to go to a doctor to get a CT scan done to detect the presence of stones. To test for a UTi, they just take a urine sample and see if there is bacteria in it. If it is a UTI, you'll end up needing antibiotics. If there is a stone, then the doctors will most likely do nothing, since people are expected to just pass stones on their own through their urine.
In my own situation, I just waited to go to a general doctor. However, if you seriously think you won't make it through the night, then atrip to the ER is definetly worth it, in my opinion.
