How long do I have to be on the pill before sex?
Question:
I'm in my second week of pills for the 3rd month so my question is, is it okay for my husband and I to have sex without the condom? Or because the other months were iffy, is it still risky?
Answers:
Most pills say after 7 days(without missing)...that's what I went by. And if you miss, just read the directions that came with the pills on what to do to catch up.
27 years on the pill... then its safe
It depends on the type of pill. Look your brand up online and it will tell you how long you have to wait before having sex.
Most pills only require you to be on the pill for 7 days without missing a day before having sex.

Personally I would use condoms for the next couple of months, until your body gets used to the pills. I think they say it takes at least 3 (unrealistically) perfect months for it to be working well.
You should be totally covered. You only have to be on the pill for seven days before its effective. So, as long as you haven't messed up this month you should be covered. Just make sure you're taking them the same time everyday.
you should be covered, contraception wise, after at most, 7 days. most BC pills only take 2 days so i think you're absolutely fine.
